A New Chapter
Whiskey Creek Marine has spent almost 40 years building and repairing aluminum boats out of our shop near Qualicum Beach, BC. We've closed that custom fabrication and welding shop to focus fully on what that experience made possible: Ortun Boats.
Every Ortun is still designed by our team here on Vancouver Island, drawing on nearly four decades of building aluminum vessels for this coast — the same hulls, the same standards for weld quality, the same understanding of what a boat needs to hold up out here. What's changed is where the hulls are built: New Ortun boats are now manufactured in Taiwan, to our specifications and under our quality standards, while design, sales, and support stay right here on Vancouver Island.

Ortun Boats are aluminum-hulled vessels designed for real coastal conditions — fishing, running crew and gear, or just getting out on the water with confidence.
Every model starts on Vancouver Island, designed by people who have spent their careers in aluminum, then built to our specifications by our production partner in Taiwan.
Our lineup covers center console, cuddy cabin, and express cruiser configurations, each one built to be capable first and comfortable close behind. If you're after a hardworking vessel that can also take you and your family out for the weekend, this is where we design it.

Every hull is still ours before it goes in the water.
